Elective Master Courses With IIT- Articulation pathway to Masters Degree in Applied Finance with CSU- Charles Sturt University

The Financial Planning Industry is changing as of the 1st of January 2017. This will see current advisors/planners required to complete an industry set exam by 2021 and obtain a degree in Finance by 2024. New Advisors will be required to obtain a degree to work in the industry as of January 2019. Don’t miss out on gaining this degree requirement, in the most flexible, time efficient way!

IIT have an articulation agreement with CSU, which allows students who hold a Diploma of Financial Planning and IIT’s FNS60415 Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning an articulation pathway into the Masters degree directly. You can complete these two elective Masters units with International Institute of Technology (IIT)

Compliance in Financial Planning and Planning Ethics and Taxation as part of the articulation pathway to a Masters of Applied Finance (Financial Planning) at Charles Sturt University. The Masters articulated program consists of 12 units, of which you will have completed 4 with IIT, leaving just 8 units to complete with Charles Sturt University as part of this tailored program. Click here for the brochure.

This is a two step process, as you will automatically articulate into the Graduate Certificate of Finance with CSU which then leads straight into the Masters of Applied Finance if you  have completed the two Masters units with IIT and the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and you will then gain 4 credit units into the Masters of Applied Finance with CSU (Charles Sturt University).

Here is how it works:

Step 1:
Complete the FNS60415 Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning (FNS60410 Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning is accepted if you already hold this qualification from IIT or we can RPL this for you if you have obtained it from another provider, so you can meet the FNS60415 qualification requirements) and the two elective units with IIT and you may articulate into the Graduate Certificate of Finance with Charles Sturt University with credit for two subjects FIN560 and FIN564.

Step 2:
Complete the Graduate Certificate of Finance with Charles Sturt University i.e. 2 more subjects and you will have the equivalent of the first year of your Masters completed. You are then eligible to be part of the Masters of Applied Finance when a further two subjects, based on your IIT studies, can be credited. Having completed the Graduate Certificate and your IIT studies, you are only required to complete a further six subjects with Charles Sturt University for your Masters qualification.
