Why is IIT a preferred provider of Financial Services education?
Operating since 2003, The International Institute of Technology (IIT) is one of Australia’s leading private education providers, offering specialised training in the areas of RG146 Financial Planning, Accounting and Finance / Mortgage Broking compliance as well as Bookkeeping and Management. At IIT, our courses are delivered by highly educated industry professionals, who have a wealth of real world experience and many years of teaching experience. Including several media and teaching awards for some of our staff who have also taught in the University Sector, as well as VET sector, which allows IIT to be ahead of most RTOs who don’t always understand the benchmarks required for industry standards.
Our courses are competitively priced and allow flexible delivery to study for all students. Our assessments are thorough, with a lot of examples, support and guidance to allow students to transition through the course with all required knowledge areas smoothly as well as our friendly staff who can be contacted by phone and email with very efficient response times for support of assessment queries.
International Institute of Technology (IIT) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO number 21421) with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and is a recognised leader in the industry. Many large dealer groups, banks and companies prefer IIT for their training philosophies and model. Over the past few years a number of disreputable RTOs “popped” up with non compliant assessment tools, knowledge areas or non compliant course offerings, which has led to a decline in Financial education and a bad name for this industry. For this reason, we cover ALL necessary requirements, in fair, easy to follow concepts, as we want high quality Financial education, which will allow our students to gain better jobs after completion. Many dealergroups, banks and companies prefer our services, due to the quality of the knowledge areas being met and the quality of the facilitators we employ.
What is the IIT advantage?
- Offering a range of qualifications which are recognised nationally from Certificate IV AQF level to Advanced Diploma level. As well as Articulation pathways through several universities.
- Providing high caliber training solutions to adults of all ages seeking to enter the Financial Services Industry or for those wanting to take their career to the next level.
- Furthering your education and career, earning potential in the most flexible and affordable manner.
- Our Facilitators and Assessors are hand-picked industry experts, whom share in our vision of nurturing and developing strong vocational skills amongst our students, and who have extensive industry and educational experience in training and assessment.
- Our pricing is very competitive and we offer full support throughout your course

Exemptions and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
If you have completed previous studies in the financial services area, you may be eligible for some credits towards your course by way of course exemptions.
|Credit Transfer||Select this option if you wish for IIT to determine whether your previous studies may provide you exemptions, with the same units of competency as credit transfer towards an IIT course in the same field.
No cost to check Certificate transcripts or Statements of Attainment for students. Gap pricing will be given with outcome depending on the number of assessments still required if students don’t have the full module or qualification exemption
|Direct Credit Transfer for full qualification||Select this option if you wish to apply for a direct credit transfer of units of competency achieved with another provider. Students must meet all Units of Competency within the nominated qualification to gain the certification. Administration Fee Applicable.
As per the SNR Standards 3.5, it is up to the RTO- International Institute of Technology (IIT) to determine on a case by case basis whether a student can be granted a full direct credit transfer as it is based on a range of factors including currency and the year the previous units were attained. IIT are under no obligation to issue any certification (either qualifications or statements of attainment) based entirely on the individual having undertaken all of the required training with another RTO.
Bridging Gap pricing will be given with outcome depending on the number of assessments still required if students don’t have the full module or qualification exemption.
|Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)||Select this option if you wish for IIT to examine a portfolio of evidence that may provide you exemptions from studying IIT material covering the same competencies. Please note that this option can result in substantial costs and time delays and no guarantee in advance can be made that any competencies will be recognised upon completion of the examination process.
$1500 for full qualifications to be assessed via this method. Gap assessments may still be required and additional costs will be given at the outcome of the RPL process. $900 for individual modules to be assessed via this method and again,
gap assessments may still be required and pricing given upon the outcome of the RPL.
If you would like for us to evaluate your eligibility for course exemptions please contact a member of our helpful Education Team on the number below or simply drop them an email firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: certified copies of your academic transcripts / statement(s) of attainment / certificate(s) are required in order to officially give you any exemptions, these can be sent to us after enrolment, and in the interim we can perform an unofficial RPL outcome, however, we cannot issue any qualification until a certified copy of the transcript/s are sent to us. Failure to send us a certified copy/s of transcripts at the completion of your course with us, will result in you having to complete areas you were given an unofficial RPL outcome/credit for pre enrolment.
