Our Australian Taxation Law and Commercial Law courses allow those wishing to become a registered Tax Agent with the Tax Practitioner Board, the education requirements to meet this registration.
For Financial Advisers, we offer the Australian Tax Law Tax (Financial) Adviser unit and Commercial Law (Financial) Adviser unit to meet registration as a Financial Adviser with the TPB. We offer all our Tax Practitioner Board courses by Distance Education via the online Moodle platform and an invigilated examination is required once all written assessments are deemed competent.
For Tax Agents or Tax (Financial Advisers) there are specific units of competency required to advise clients on Tax related products and advice and for those students who undertake our Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning FNS50615 course, there is RPL available via our Taxation Planning unit. Only small areas are required to be completed for the Tax Agent or Tax Financial Adviser Tax Law units if you have completed the Advanced Diploma with us. The units of competency set out by the Tax Practitioner Board to meet Tax Agent and Tax (Financial Adviser) requirements have specific assessment requirements which are explained in the individual unit details below.
