The International Institute of Technology’s (IIT) Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program has been developed in line with the requirements as set out under ASIC’s Regulatory Guide 146 (RG146). Demonstration of ongoing training and development is a crucial part of maintaining not only ASIC’s RG146 compliance but also a key aspect of remaining up to date in a fast changing financial services environment.
IIT’s online learning system enables program participants to complete the training in a comfortable environment at a time that suits their busy schedules. The monthly program is designed around a series of articles and assessments designed to enhance the individual’s knowledge and understanding of developments in the financial services industry.
The IIT online CPD program can be tailored to meet the unique training needs of groups and organisations to ensure the knowledge of their Representatives remains current and relevant. In addition, individuals seeking to stay ahead in a competitive marketplace can also enrol in to the program.
Online access
Subscribers to the IIT online CPD program have complete flexibility in terms of when and where they choose to complete the program. The online system is easy to navigate and secure with each user having a unique User ID and password. The IIT online CPD program allows participants to:
1. Read articles (5) online and undertake the CPD assessments (each month).
It is also designed to allow Training/Compliance Managers to:
2. Design training plans relevant to each Representatives (on an individual or group basis) and identify any learning gaps.
3. Input and monitor all external (CPD) training events undertaken by the Representative.
4. Monitor individual progress online.
5. Generate training reports to be used during compliance audits with the Representative.
CPD Assessment
Assessments are conducted on a monthly basis and involve the completion of FOUR multiple-choice questions relating to each CPD article. Participants can complete the assessments using any of the following methods:
1. Login to IIT CPD online program using User ID and password to access the assessment portal and lodge the answer online. This is convenient, can be completed at the individual’s discretion and enables fast access to results and solutions;
2. Complete and fax the answer sheet to 03 8677 6911; or
3. Complete and mail the answer sheet to

Participants must answer at least three out of the four questions correctly (per article). Successful participants will be issued with a Certificate of Completion. Any participants required to resit assessments will be provided with the opportunity to do so immediately. Subscription to the CPD Online Program
1. Subscriptions are purchased on an annual basis (12 monthly sessions);
2. Discounts apply for Participants who purchase the CPD online program in combination with any other IIT training course. Please call on our friendly Education Consultants to discuss this further.
